ABOUT OssaTerra Ltd.
Our name comes from Greek mythology. Ossa is a real mountain in Thessaly, Greece — famous as the peak the giants Otus and Ephialtes tried to stack atop Mount Olympus, piling Pelion on Ossa, in their attempt to reach the heavens. It's the origin of the old expression "to move mountains." Paired with terra, Latin for earth, our name reflects exactly what we do: moving mountains of earth, one project at a time.
Since 2003, Ossa Terra Ltd. has been a locally owned and operated construction company proudly serving Lethbridge, Southern Alberta, and Southeast British Columbia. What started as a company built on hard work and hands-on expertise has grown into a full-service partner for civil construction, earthworks, and demolition projects of every scale.
Our capabilities run deep — literally. We install, remove, and repair deep utilities including water, sewer, drainage, gas, electrical, irrigation, and fiber optic lines. We handle demolition and deconstruction with an eye toward diverting waste from landfills wherever possible. And we manage the full site development process, from excavation and earthworks to contaminated soils reclamation and remediation.
Beyond the dirt work, we keep projects moving with our own trucking fleet and heavy equipment lowboy hauling services, and in the winter months, our snow removal division keeps roads, lots, and job sites clear and operational.
From subdivisions and commercial builds to municipal infrastructure upgrades, Ossa Terra Ltd. has left its mark across Lethbridge — including projects like the IGA Grocery Store, The Village Inn Hotel, and the City of Lethbridge's Public Operations Building.
At the core of everything we do is our people. We take pride in our experienced crews, our unwavering commitment to safety, and the long-term relationships we've built with clients who trust us to get the job done right — the first time.
Whether you're planning a small residential project or a large-scale commercial or municipal undertaking, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out by phone or email — we're happy to answer any questions and provide a quote.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
At Ossa Terra, it’s about the legacy we leave behind.
Our legacy is what we build today. It lives in the roads, utilities, and infrastructure that serve our communities, and in the families of the people who build them. We believe in the legacy of our communities and our employees’ families, and that belief drives everything we do.
We build one legacy at a time, one project at a time, one part at a time. We’re building a legacy for you.
For us, it’s never been only about the bottom line. It’s about building a future for everyone. That’s why we put our hands into community projects, and why we’ll keep doing it.
